Following the successful conduct of the 1st course in May, the upcoming second course, jointly proposed by Indonesua Government will focus on a selected thematic issue within the marine and fisheries sector, The program is intended to strengthen participants’ knowledge, technical understanding, and collaborative capacity in addressing emerging challenges and opportunities in marine and fisheries development. It targets mid-level officials and professionals engaged in program implementation, policy support, institutional cooperation, and sectoral capacity development.

👥 KIOTEC Master's Degree Scolarship & International Participants

the Marine Survey Equipment Training (MSET) is designed as a capacity development program under the Official Development Assistance (ODA) framework, particularly supporting the master’s degree scholarship program. Conducted twice a year,, the training involves 40 master’s degree awardees and aims to strengthen participants’ technical competencies in marine survey methodologies and equipment operation.

The first MSET focuses on the application of marine physics measurements, providing participants with practical knowledge and hands-on experience relevant to marine and fisheries research and development. The upcoming MSET is planned to focus on DNA analysis and water quality applications, while also being organized as an international training program involving broader collaboration and participation from international partners and experts.
