Endorsed Activity “Korea-Indonesia Ocean Technology Capacity Enhancement Actions (KIOTEC-CEA)" is designed to enhance the capabilities of early-career ocean professionals (ECOPs) in Indonesia by providing advanced training and fostering international collaboration. One of them is by holding a technical training on Marine Survey Equipment twice a year with participants from 40 KIOTEC master’s degree scholarship awardee. The first MSET focuses on the application of marine physics measurements using Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP), Conductivity, Temperature, Depth (CTD) instruments, Grab Sampler, and Sieve Shaker to strengthen the technical competence of KIOTEC awardees through hands-on and field-based learning.

The KIOTEC Korea Visit Program 2026 is a week-long intensive capacity-building initiative scheduled from April 26 to May 2, 2026, across South Korea. Its primary objective is to advance sustainable ocean governance by providing Indonesian professionals with practical insights into Korea's cutting-edge marine and fisheries technologies through technical visits to Korea institutions.   the program aligns with global goals by strengthening the professional networks of Early Career Ocean Professionals (ECOPs) and fostering international collaboration for sustainable ocean management. The main audience comprises a multi-stakeholder delegation, including policy-making officials, alongside academic scholars and Master's Degree scholarship awardees from nine leading Indonesian universities.
